Hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter. As usual it was a bit stressful here but we have had a great couple of days. Looking back some of it has been a bit funny. The eggs fell out of the car while trying to load 150lbs of dog and horse feed. Luckily only 4 broke. I should probably mention there were two little old men in lawn chair sitting outside of the store giggling at me me while I cursed the eggs and ranting about how I wished Joe was home. This morning I couldn't find Garrett's pants that I ordered and somehow the couch ate a sock. Maybe it was a sugar high or the fact that we have had late nights the past couple of days but the boys were wild as can be during church...had to have a stranger hold the baby while I removed Garretto (being a floppy fish) from the situation. But the boys had a great time dying the (unbroken) eggs...hehheeh, went for an egg hunt in the yard and they all looked stinkin cute in their clothes. Dad came over this afternoon and I made cornish hens, scalloped corn, green beans, and rolls. Dad brought an apple pie...yum ...and WINE!!! Which I plan on hitting again in uh about 3 hours...LOL. So here are some pics from today...enjoy!

Emotionally challenging
This week has been a bit tough. First of all it is Spring Break and it has rained A LOT. In a matter of 2 days we got 5 1/2 inches on this property. So trying to keep three kids entertained is not an easy feat. Then with all this rain there comes the job of mowing...this took several attempts. 1) mower started but as soon as in gear belt jumped off and no go mow 2) Dad to the rescue puts belt back late one night starts right up and drives but too late to mow 3) battery is dead 4) Dad returns and brings charger charges overnight 5) starts WOHOOO put in gear...belt again!!!! Ok If I owned a gun the mower would be shot...probably several times.
Next comes the baby swing. My wonderful cousins and aunt and uncle gave me a super cool swing when Joe was born. It was the first model that swung side to side. Well it has been on it's last leg since Katie's birth. Finally after spending 10 bucks every 2-3 weeks on batteries the swing quit. So...after 2.5 kids I had to buy a new one...which took going to 4 stores to find a reasonable price (there's not by the way).
Then there is the Bug (AKA Katie). I am 99.999% sure she is a moderate/severe refluxer. I have been dealing with it with just TLC and lots of burp clothes since day one. She was never excessively fussy until lately. Then she started losing weight....big red Mama flag there. More attempts 1)took her in...ear infection. Doc says weight loss probably related so not to worry come back in 3 weeks 2) come back ear is fine but has lost more weight..doc still not worried but Mama is 3)call civilian docs to see if I can get her in...nope 4) go back to post to see some one else...and finally get ball rolling
So needless to say I have had to be very persistent and patient this week. Tears have been shed, mowers have been kicked, and puke has gone everywhere...but as I speak a lawn service is mowing my grass and Dad (superDad) should be on his way to haul my mower off to the shop.
And the Bug is happily swinging in a new (ugh kinda spendy) swing with 2 meds in the closet/fridge with more appts ahead of her. But hey we are going in the right direction. And well...can you put a price on this smile :)

Why??!!
I know I know I should have completely learned by now....but I haven't. Those of you with more than one child no how VASTLY different yet the same they can be. Garrett wants to be sooooo much like his big brother that he put on his batting helmet the other day, grabbed an bat and a ball and headed on the field SEVERAL times. I actually had to take him to the car and keep him confined and watch the rest of practice from there. He never plays with baby toys...he likes the matchbox cars and geotrax just like Joe. Joe has had a couple of sleepovers and Garrett fits in there and plays with the big boys like he was 5 just like them.
However.......Joe never really "got into" anything when he was Garrett's age. He would makes messes with his toys but wasn't banging with pans, rearranging my spice drawer, or COLORING on everything and anything he could find!!!!!!!! Garrett's best friend has to be a sharpie marker and he loves to draw on my white kitchen cabinets or my white kitchen floor. Oh man.....he did this the other day.....oh well....I think this is payback or something.

Tball and truck cuteness
So Tball practice officially started today. Joe was so excited....probably too excited. In soccer we encouraged him to dive in the scrum and get the ball. With baseball it's a little different...you call it you get it. So we have to teach him not to fight over the ball. He also doesn't quite understand of staying in his position, but he tried really hard. Even got a hit on his second pitch!! He got sooo dirty though. Hmmm now I think I know why my folks put me in swimming ;).JPG)

My bed finally came in. Not quite as soft as I would have like but it is still so much nicer than my old one. And I am thinking a pillow top or foam top might bring it to a perfect ten :) Ok dont shoot me it's not made all the way in the pic...
Also got another new bed.......on the backend of my new TRUCK. I finally got a deal to go through on a truck I've been looking at for weeks. I love it. I've had dreams about this truck even :):)
Last but not least Joe is playing tball this Spring!!! He played soccer for three seasons but has decided he would like to try baseball this year. He is so excited. His first practice should be tomorrow. I will have to post pics of the first game. He is on the Mets :) Should be soooooo cute!!

Ear, couch, vomit, and cow legs?!?!
LOL Welcome to my house :) Let me explain what has happened the past couple of days.
1. Ear- My sweet lil girl has done really well with sleeping, until Monday night. Then it was like someone traded my precious lil one for a screaming, non sleeping, fussy eating, monster!! By yesterday I had had enough and scheduled a doc appt. Mostly for my sake but I thought surely they could tell me something. Low and behold she has an ear infection. Way to go Mama....make your sweet baby wait 5 days to get relief. She's also still really small. In fact she has lost weight since her 4 month appt. She is hovering around 12 1/2 pounds. The doc was thinking it was ear related but if not reflux meds will be introduced....again.
2. Couch- This is where I have been sleeping for the past 3 nights. My beautiful sleigh bed is here and assembled but I have no mattress. So while I wait I am sleeping with the dogs...lovely :).

3. Vomit- Two of my three dogs woke me from slumber last night needing to vomit. Needless to say I did not fumble to the alarm to turn it off so I could get them out before they puked in the kitchen. UGH!!!!
4. Cow Legs?- So why are your dogs vomitting, Liz? Are they sick? Um no. As I venture out this morning to feed the horses I notice a large black object in my yard. Oh jeez I think to myself, Zhuk has killed a cat...or worse a skunk!!! Nope it was the leg of a cow. Oh yuck!!! I just told myself to close my eyes and toss it in the trash. Man I need to tip my garbage men.
