I had a doctor's appt this afternoon. And everything looks good. My OB was very happy for our new little girl :). Her heartbeat and everything looked god and I am measuring a week ahead...I knew my belly had grown a lot this week.
We discussed the deployment and my support network if I should go into preterm labor again (high risk since I did with both boys). And she said if we do get to a point where she can induce me she will so she can deliver the baby (we've been friends for about a year) which made me really happy. I think she put Joe's mind at ease too. She promised we would be taken care of and not to worry :).
So things are good. I'm just taking it a bit easy. I am having the joys of swelling now (another perk I didn't have with the boys ;)) So we will wait another three weeks and see how things look from there :).

Some belated Garrett pics
I had Garrett's one year pictures taken a few weeks late. I felt a little guilty about it. I was the second child who never got a baby book, and wanted to do everything for my second and third like I did for Joe. Well, now I understand why the second kids get "less".....oh well I still got them done :) And it was still his bday month :). I couldn't pick them up until we got back from our trip but I am really happy with how they turned out. Thanks for peeking :)

Oregon Vacation!!
We just got back from a family vacation to Oregon. We had a fantastic time with Big Joe's family and did lots of stuff. We went to several parks, fed ducks, Joe and I spent the night at Crater Lake, went to some wildlife safaris, and spent a couple of days on the Oregon coast. It was a lot of fun. It's nice to be home though....and so life will resume.

Well the Harrison finale will be...
I had the *big* ultrasound today and everything looks great. Baby was meauring a little big and wiggling around a little bit for us. And proud to say that I am ready....to have a GIRL!!!!! I had a feeling it might be and sure enough there she was in all her cuteness :). We are very excited. Joe is a little nervous....gotten used to having boys :). Her name will be Katherine Greer after Joe's mom and my middle name. I think I will have a great time because this will be so new and I will have someone to go shopping with and just do girly things with her :)

Nice long weekend
Hope everyone had a good weekend and took time to remember the heroes that have given their all for this great country.
We stayed busy as usual. Joe got to come home from Knox for a long weekend. It has been really nice. I had to work on Saturday but it was kinda nice to get out. We had a date night last night....the new Indy movie is awesome :). Little Joe had a birthday party to go to and of course we grilled out. Big Joe also bought a new computer this weekend to take to Korea. We should be able to keep in good contact with it. He only has a couple of weeks left at the advanced course..yea!
We will head to Oregon next week for a family vacation. Yahoooo! I am so excited. We will celebrate out 7th anniversary there.....crazy we've been married that long. His folks will keep the kids for a night and we are going to head up to Crater Lake National Park and spend the night. I know I haven't traveled a whole lot in my life but I seriously think it is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
By the way I had an OB appt last week. Everything looks great with the pumpkin. And I finally put on a little weight so my doc is much happier. We took a peek at the baby just for fun and she thinks there may be some pink in my future :):):):):). She didn't have a really good view so I won't get my hopes up just yet but how exciting would that be?!?!?! Only 8 days left til we can find out for sure :)

Here goes nothin'
Hey there :). I have a sight set up for Little Joe and his issues but thought since I have been adding more and more family things there (and being inspired by my military friends :)) I should really address them somewhere else. So here I go....officially blogging.
Little Joe graduated from preschool this week. Holy cow!! I have recently joined a Mom's group that will hopefully give us some activities for the summer. A big downside to living in the country is a lack of neighbors and social things for the kiddos so I hope this will help. Garrett is as sweet and bubbly as ever. Even took a couple of really wobbly steps between Big Joe and I today :).
